The MAC presents the The Attorney-in-Fact - A new play by Philip Ardell. This play was written under the auspices of the MTPI - the MAC Theater Playwrights' Incubator. Mentorship was provided by Tony Ferreira and Harvey Ussach
After hip reconstruction surgery, 82-year-old Milt is placed in a rehab facility with an uncertain future. His estranged son Tommy visits, hoping to repair their relationship—and secure financial help—while Milt’s social worker, Dottie, pushes for Tommy to gain power of attorney. Though both are left disillusioned, circumstances bind them together in ways that force a fragile, uneasy reliance neither anticipated.
