There is a movement to illuminate Fall River. Join us to strike on the lights of our treasured "We Here" mural!
Join the Isosceles Alliance for Illuminating Fall River, a public art initiative that reimagines murals and architectural landmarks through large-scale lighting and projection. The project creates a vibrant nighttime experience that celebrates the architectural treasures found in Fall River's hillside landscape.
The initial focus is We Here (2022) by Add Fuel at the old Herald News building- an ode to the city’s enduring Portuguese community and culture. Lighting this mural highlights this artistic treasure after dark, activating the streetscape, and creating a safer, more welcoming downtown.
Come and celebrate the first step of the greater the vision to illuminate the hillside and downtown Fall River in creative ways. This project was made possible by our incredible partners: LEADS Program, MassDevelopment TDI, The Fall River Local Cultural Council/ MCC, Potters Printing, The First Congregational Church of Fall River, Blessed Trinity Parish, MAK Electric, and our NOMA Partners.
